Vacation...

So Cathy and I are taking a few days off next week. We'll be taking Tuesday and Wednesday off, which means we will have Monday through Friday off.

We haven't really got a ton of stuff planned. Basically this is just more of a "we're sick of going to work" vacation...but we do have a few things in mind.

We might go with some co-workers on Tuesday to a place that has really great breakfasts. I guess they go there quite often on Tuesdays, and normally we work so we can't go, but this time we might.

We also are planning on going to the Detroit Science Center. It's a science museum that we've heard is pretty cool, but the best part about it is that it's got a "Star Trek" exhibit right now with all kinds of cool stuff from the movies and TV shows.

We might end up trying to get out in the kayaks one of the days that we're off, but I'm not sure where we'll go for that.

And we MIGHT try to go to the cottage for a night. But that will really depend on if we decide to do the breakfast or not. We don't want to do all of this stuff on those days off, so this one will only happen if we don't do the breakfast.

Either way, it's going to be a nice break from work, and it should keep us relatively sane until Labor Day when we head for Vegas!!!
