So, after literally MONTHS of waiting, my trebuchet finally showed up the other day. It got here pretty early in the morning via FedEx, but we had to go to work so I didn't even get around to opening it.
As soon as I got home, however, I tore into the box to see what it looked like. The "burned" wood actually looks really cool. The kit seems pretty well made, and the hardware that came with it to put it together looks to be top notch.
I'm hoping to be able to put it together in the next few weeks. It LOOKS like it's going to be relatively easy to put together, but who knows. I've got a few other things on my plate still before I get to the trebuchet, but at least it finally arrived.
