So Flight of the Conchords is a band from New Zealand. I guess they aren't so much of a band as they are a comedy duo. Maybe.
Either way, they are pretty funny and they are coming to Detroit in April. Cathy had tried to get tickets to their show, but they apparently sold out almost instantly that day. So she was pretty bummed about that. To make it worse, tickets were selling for over $100 each at ticket outlets, and they only cost like $35 each to begin with...so the markup was insane.
Well, she somehow managed to figure out that they had added a concert that same night, only later. Tickets went on sale this morning at 10am. She was there and waiting.
She ended up getting us a couple of tickets pretty close to the stage, so it should be a really fun time.

I do not believe I have heard of them up to this point. Took a look at their myspace and a couple videos. Absolutely hilarious!
Of course they are sold out everywhere they go - including DC.
